World Table Tennis (WTT) has revealed its highly anticipated 2025 WTT Series calendar, signalling a record-breaking year for the sport with the first-ever full slate of events since WTT’s inception.
Fans can now mark their calendars for an exhilarating line-up of events, featuring the debut of new WTT Grand Smashes, the return of iconic host cities, and a full slate of WTT Champions events, all to be topped off with the season-ending WTT Finals.
With a complete schedule of top-tier events, the 2025 WTT Series delivers an unprecedented season that promises non-stop action from the sport’s elite players and rising stars alike. Throughout the year, fans can expect more frequent showdowns featuring their favourite table tennis superstars, as WTT brings the thrill of world-class competition to audiences more regularly than ever before.

A New Era of Grand Smashes: Four Majors Set the Stage for 2025
For the first time in WTT history, the 2025 season will feature four Grand Smashes, each promising to redefine the heights of table tennis with their intensity and global reach.
Fans will be treated to WTT Grand Smash action from the first month of the year, with Singapore Smash returning from 30 January to 9 February, and continuing its legacy as the first WTT Grand Smash of the WTT Series.
The recently announced United States Smash heads to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas from 3 to 13 July, delivering a first-ever WTT Grand Smash in North America. August sees the debut of a new WTT Grand Smash, which will unfold from 14 to 24 August, with an exciting location to be announced soon.
China Smash returns to Beijing in September, running from 25 September to 5 October, rounding off an unprecedented Grand Smash line-up.
Six Destinations, One Unstoppable WTT Champions Series
Following the enormous success of WTT Champions events in 2024, next year will see six premier WTT Champions events. Each of these events brings together the world’s best stars featured on the Infinity Arena that in a showcase of high-stakes tension and captivating match-ups, ensuring fans never miss a moment of top-tier action.
The series starts with the return of WTT Champions Chongqing from 11 to 16 March, and WTT Champions Incheon from 1 to 6 April, setting the tone for an explosive first half of the season.
In August, Japan will host its first WTT Champions event, from 7 to 11 August, adding an exciting new stop in Asia.
Asia’s leg concludes with WTT Champions Macao for its fourth year, set for 9 to 14 September.
The WTT Champions series then crosses into Europe, with the highly anticipated return of WTT Champions Montpellier from 28 October to 2 November and WTT Champions Germany from 3 to 9 November.
2025 WTT Finals: The Season’s Ultimate Showdown
The season culminates with the WTT Finals from 25 to 30 November, where the top 16 singles players and 8 mixed doubles pairs will converge for one epic showdown. Played over five heart-stopping days, the WTT Finals celebrates the very best of the year, spotlighting the players who have pushed boundaries and earned their place among the season’s elite.
The WTT Finals takes on an evolved format in 2025, with qualification determined by the new WTT Series Finals Rankings. The host city for this anticipated 2025 finale will be announced shortly, where the world’s biggest stars will come together to close out the season.

WTT was created to provide opportunities for every player — from top stars to emerging talents — within our system. The 2025 calendar embodies this vision, and we look forward to witnessing each player rise to the occasion at every level of WTT.”
The 2025 calendar also includes a robust WTT Star Contender and WTT Contender line-up with 10 events across the globe, launching with WTT Star Contender Doha to kick off the season. 2024’s WTT Contender Rio de Janeiro evolves into a WTT Star Contender and relocates to São Paulo, while London joins the roster as a new WTT Star Contender host, building on the momentum towards a highly anticipated 2026 WTTC Finals.
Completing the calendar, the WTT Feeder and WTT Youth Series continues to offer emerging players with essential opportunities to gain experience, improve rankings, and showcase their talents.
