The Diplomatic Council (DC), a global think tank, world-leading business network and charitable foundation having consultative status with the United Nations, is launching a new mission in Singapore which will be headed by Irene Ho, the founder of The Luxury Network Singapore.
The official opening of the mission is on March 22 at the residence of H.E. Dato’ Zulkifli Adnan, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Singapore and a member of DC’s Board of Presidents.
About 150 guests, including ambassadors from more than 20 countries, investors, business owners, socialites, politicians and representatives from government agencies and the media, are expected to attend the reception.
Supporters of the event include partners and members of The Luxury Network: Base Entertainment, Big Blue, Bluebell Group, Coriander Leaf, De Dietrich, JWalking Studio Photography, kenimage, Leica Camera, Michael Toh Photography, The Peak magazine, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, PrintLab and Singapore Polo Club.
Overseas guests include Hang Nguyen, DC Secretary-General, Andreas Dripke, DC’s CEO to the United Nations, Sascha Zilger and Georg Diehl, DC’s Business Ambassadors, Daniel McKee, President of the US DC, and Dr Sharifah Fauziah Alhabshi and Dr Navindra Nageswaran, both permanent representatives of DC Malaysia.
Business Ambassador is the highest rank a member can hold in the DC and is offered only to dignitaries who combine economic success with social commitment in an outstanding way.
At the ceremony, new DC members from Singapore will receive their membership certificates from H.E. Adnan and Dripke. Several ambassadors and high commissioners, like Australia’s High Commissioner to Singapore Bruce Gosper, have already become members of the DC.
The DC links diplomats, business leaders, science’s leading minds and society’s front-runners on resolving mankind’s biggest challenges. Its members gain access to a global network of leaders from the highest levels of diplomacy, business and social change.
