Daily Beer launches family-friendly Daily Chicken

Building on the phenomenal success of Daily Beer’s Singapore debut in April, Katrina Group has announced the launch of the first location of its new Daily Chicken brand in Bugis Junction.

This fresh and fun casual dining concept breaks new ground by bringing a family-friendly twist to Korean street food. While chimaek concept Daily Beer is celebrated for its expertly crafted brews and food designed to enjoy with beer, Daily Chicken is a new take on Korean street food favourites, featuring a menu of hard-to-resist Korean comfort foods, innovative creations and refreshing Korean beverages, guaranteed to satisfy even the most diverse and discriminating palates.

Katrina Group Executive Chairman and CEO Alan Goh said: “With our new concept Daily Chicken, we are excited to share the vivacious spirit of Korean street food with our fellow Singaporeans. Our vision is to create a lively, casual experience where families and friends gather to enjoy old favourites and try new ones.

We look forward to growing the Daily Chicken brand to bring the bold flavours and warmth of Korean street food to more neighbourhoods across Singapore.”

The Daily Chicken Gangjeong ($25++) takes centre stage, pairing the signature combination of boneless fried chicken tossed together with chewy rice cakes and a choice of crispy potato wedges, sweet potatoes, or pop dumplings in either Red or Black variation, promising a truly indulgent meal. Guests can customise their Gangjeong by requesting additional toppings for $2.80 each.

Noodle lovers can delight in four slurp-worthy selections (all priced at $8++): Daily Onmyeon, Daily Bibimmyeon, and Daily Cold Bibimmyeon are perfect for those seeking mild and cooling dishes, while the Daily Spicy Onmyeon provides just the right amount of heat. To satisfy sweet cravings, Daily Chicken offers its own irresistible version of quintessential Korean street snack Hotteok in four unique renditions.

For a local twist, try the chewy Kaya Hotteok ($12++) oozing with pandan kaya and topped with either savoury butter or sweet whipped cream. Alternatively, opt for the Crispy Pastry Hotteok ($14++) in two mouth-watering flavours: honey with whipped cream or sweet and savoury corn cheese with whipped cream. Chewy Doughnuts ($9++) filled with sweet red beans are a sweet indulgence sure to be a hit as well.

Cup Gangjeong (Black) Also making its debut is the game-changing Cup Gangjeong ($12+), a tasty and convenient togo-only treat featuring the Daily Chicken Gangjeong in Black or Red, and choice of sweet potato, potato wedges or pop dumplings, perched atop a takeaway cup of Coke or Sprite, perfect for snacking on the go.

No trip to Daily Chicken is complete without ordering their signature fried chicken, which differs slightly to Daily Beer’s recipe… you be the judge! Coated in their proprietary batter and flour blend, the chicken is slowly lowered into sizzling hot oil that yields a golden, crispy exterior and juicy interior.

For those seeking a classic experience, Daily Chicken Original ($17++ for Half a chicken, $32++ for a Whole chicken or Wings 600g at $26++), an addictive fried chicken with satisfying crunch giving way to tender, flavourful meat – available in three other tantalising flavours ($18++ for Half a chicken, $34++ for a Whole chicken or Wings 600g at $28++).

Those seeking a spicy kick can indulge in the Daily Chicken Red where the original chicken is tossed in a fiery red and spicy sauce and topped with roasted sesame seeds for added texture. Meanwhile, Daily Chicken Black gives a rich, velvety mouthfeel from the dark, sticky sweet garlic aged soy sauce and roasted sesame seeds.

Daily Chicken Crunch elevates the taste experience by smothering the fried chicken in a bold, sweet, spicy, cornflakes garlic seasoning. From L-R: Daily Tteokbokki and Premium Fish Cake Soup A selection of crowd favourites from DAILY BEER can also be enjoyed at DAILY CHICKEN such as the iconic Daily Tteokbokki ($26++), which features a spicy hot soup teeming with chewy stewed rice cakes, assorted fish cakes, and succulent chicken tenders.

Other options include the Premium Fish Cake Soup ($26++) which presents a comforting, warm broth loaded with a variety of fish cakes and shrimp skewers as well as the Daily Fried Tofu Gimbap ($14++). A variety of snacks and sides include: wholesome Green Light Salad ($12++ or $17++ with chicken), Spam Fries ($14++), Chubby Shrimp Bar ($13++ for 2 pieces) and creamy Cheese Balls ($7++ for 3 pieces).

DAILY CHICKEN serves a thirst-quenching array of non-alcoholic beverages, showcasing popular picks like Green Plum Ade ($4++) and Omija Ade ($4++). For those seeking to enjoy an alcoholic beverage, DAILY CHICKEN offers the revitalising K-Ginseng Lager ($13++). Brewed with whole Korean ginseng, this refreshing craft beer is designed to uplift and complement a variety of dishes, from crispy fried delights to fresh salads and fruits.
