S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa has launched Ocean Fest: The Noisy Ocean, which aims to raise awareness on ocean soundscapes and the negative impacts of sound pollution through immersive audio-visual installations and musical performances.
One of the highlights include a brand-new percussion showcase, titled “Celebration of Sound”, at the iconic Open Ocean Habitat. Through an edu-taining live performance consisting of an ensemble of upcycled materials turned into musical instruments and live-sized dancing puppets, the show features an original, upbeat song on the importance of 3Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle.
S.E.A. Aquarium also unveiled new names for its largest and most iconic species – three male manta rays – as part of a recent naming contest, and introduced all-new mascots inspired by the majestic species.
Guests can meet S.E.A. Aquarium’s adorable line-up of mascots at 12.30pm and 3pm daily.
To discover more about the aquarium’s three manta rays and their unique characteristics, guests can attend an all-new talk titled Marine Chatter held daily at 1pm at the Open Ocean Habitat.
The Ocean Fest experience is included with admission and is available till 30 June.
Singapore residents and families enjoy online discounts at only S$30 for an adult one-day ticket (U.P. S$36) or S$79 for a bundle of two adult and one child one-day tickets to S.E.A. Aquarium.
