Base Entertainment Asia will bring together a constellation of Australia’s brightest musical talents to join the brilliance of the Base Philharmonic Orchestra at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, on 12 October 2024 for Hopelessly Devoted – a moving and uplifting tribute to international luminary Olivia Newton-John, who died in August 2022 at the age of 73.
Olivia Newton-John, beloved for her timeless hits and unforgettable performances in Grease, captured the hearts of millions worldwide with her angelic voice and captivating presence.
Hosted by Tottie Goldsmith, Olivia Newton-John’s niece, Hopelessly Devoted will celebrate her extraordinary legacy through an evening of her greatest hits performed by some of Australia’s most talented vocalists and Singapore’s very own Base Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor Jessica Gethin.
Tottie Goldsmith said: “I’m really excited to be collaborating with the Base Philharmonic Orchestra on this celebration of our Olivia. She loved performing with orchestras and would be so filled with joy that this event is taking place. Her remarkable musical legacy and equally remarkable advocacy will be at the heart of this special concert. Let’s love, laugh and sing our hearts out in her honour.”

The concert will feature iconic songs such as Physical, I Honestly Love You and Hopelessly Devoted to You, which reflect Olivia Newton-John’s journey from her early days in Australia to her rise as an international superstar.
The concert promises to be a nostalgic and emotional experience, highlighting the star’s contributions to music and film.
